Who we are
Ascent Co. sells digital journals and planners at ascentco.site. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the site, buy from us or join our email list, and how we use and protect it.
Ascent Co. is operated by Ascent Collective, based in the Philippines. We handle personal information in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). For any privacy question, email hello@ascentco.site.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to sell you a digital product and stay in touch if you ask us to.

How we use your information
- Process your order and email you the download link for your purchase
- Answer your questions and help with problems opening your file
- Send our newsletter, only if you joined the list

- Understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it
- Prevent fraud and protect the site
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising.
Payments and checkout
Payments are processed by trusted third-party payment providers. Your card or account details go directly to them, and their own privacy policies apply. We receive only what we need to confirm the order, such as your name, email address, order total and payment status.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that run our store, and only what each one needs to do its job.

- Payment providers, to process payments
- Email and analytics services, to send the newsletter and measure site traffic
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them to keep your cart working, remember your settings and, if you allow it, understand how people use the site.
- Essential cookies run the store and checkout. The site can't work without them.
- Analytics cookies show us which pages are visited and how. They are used only with your consent where the law requires it.
You can clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Email list
We add you to our email list only when you sign up for it. Buying a journal does not sign you up on its own. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email hello@ascentco.site to be removed.
How long we keep it
- Order records: as long as Philippine tax and accounting law requires
- Email list: until you unsubscribe
- Messages to us: as long as needed to help you, then deleted
- Analytics data: per the analytics tool's retention setting
Your rights and choices
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, and depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- See the personal information we hold about you
- Correct it if it's wrong
- Ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it by law
- Get a copy in a portable format
- Object to or limit how we use it, including for marketing
- Withdraw consent you gave, such as for the email list or analytics cookies
To use any of these rights, email hello@ascentco.site. We will reply within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines, or with the data protection authority where you live.
Security, children and international transfers
Security. The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and payments are handled by our payment provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can access your information and what we keep.
Children. Our products are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
International transfers. Our service providers may store and process data in countries other than yours. When that happens, we rely on their legal safeguards for international transfers.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will also email our list.
